About
Bugsducky is a passion project dedicated to uncovering, documenting, and preserving video games that have been lost to time. We focus on obscure titles from the 1980s and 1990s — the kind of games that were made by small teams, sold in local shops, and never got the recognition they deserved.
Many of these games existed only on cassette tapes, floppy disks, or cartridges that were produced in tiny runs. Some were regional releases that never left their home country. Others were ambitious projects by bedroom coders who moved on to other things. Whatever the reason, these games disappeared from public memory — until now.
We track down original developers, dig through flea markets and online auctions, and work with retro computing communities to recover and document these forgotten titles. Every game has a story, and we want to make sure those stories are told.
Based in the Netherlands. If you have a lead on a lost game, get in touch.
